How to insulate a window in a baby's room
l am currently renting. The place that we have has single pane windows. We
currently have those really heavy curtains for more insulation but they
are extremely ugly. Now we are expecting a baby and l wanna take the
curtains down but l need to know how to insulate the windows. l see those
kits you shrink with a hair dryer but l just wanna do the best thing
possible. Can anyone help?!
I saw one of those DIY shows the other night about insulating
windows and they used simple contact paper. The stuff that you put on
books. They got the clear paper and stuck it on. You could not see it
and and they said it worked wonders.
Well, you could fabricate a storm window to attach on the
outside of the house to cover the window and provide dead air space for
additional insulation.
Well, the Insulated Curtains are great. Ugly you can fix by
placing another curtain on top of it and sewing it together, either by
hand or machine to change the look and color and texture that is visible.
Those kits might work too, can not help you there.
