What is the best insulation to add to my 1970s townhouse
l have a 3-bedroom, 3-story town house with no attic. In the winter, the
exterior walls are very drafty and the windows leak a lot of cold air.Brr!
And high heat bills even when l keep the thermostat low.What would be the
best type of insulation to get in terms of effectiveness and value?
Couldn't you add insulation outside of the house when you next
put up siding?
you can see if yo can do blown in insulation in between the
walls by cutting an opening and filling the gap.. if not you will need to
pull the dry wall and put in foam core. Sould like you will need new
windows ,but you can get away with with plastic film to cover during
winter
